Have you ever looked at someone else's success and wondered how they got there?
Maybe you see someone with hundreds of thousands of followers, a thriving business, or what looks like the "perfect" life, and you think, I'll never get there.
I've been there.
It's easy to look at the finish line and forget that every journey starts with one small step.
For me, it started with one post.
Just one.
Not a viral video.
Not thousands of followers.
Not fancy equipment.
Just one post.
Then another.
And another.
Some of them did well.
Some of them...well...let's just say my mom probably would've been the only one to see them if she had Facebook. 😂
But I kept posting.
Somewhere along the way, I realized this wasn't just about social media.
It's how life works.
You don't lose 20 pounds overnight.
You don't build a business in a weekend.
You don't strengthen your faith with one prayer.
You don't grow friendships with one conversation.
You do it one day at a time.
One choice at a time.
One step at a time.
One post at a time.
People often ask me how I've grown my pages.
I wish I had some magical answer.
I don't.
I just kept showing up.
Even on the days I wasn't motivated.
Even on the days I doubted myself.
Even on the days I thought, "Is anyone even watching?"
Because I wasn't just posting for numbers.
I was posting because maybe—just maybe—something I shared would make someone smile, encourage them, or remind them they're not alone.
And if it helped one person...
Then it was worth posting.
I've learned something over these last several months.
Small things become big things when you don't quit.
One follower becomes one hundred.
One hundred becomes one thousand.
One encouraging comment turns into a community.
One idea turns into a dream.
But none of it happens if we stop after the first try.
So today, if you're feeling overwhelmed by how far you still have to go, don't worry about next month.
Don't worry about next year.
Just focus on today.
Take the next step.
Write the next chapter.
Make the next phone call.
Say the next prayer.
Create the next video.
Post the next post.
One post at a time.
One day at a time.
Before you know it, you'll look back and realize just how far you've come.
And trust me...you'll be glad you didn't quit.
